New local partner. The RDG Recycling Group is part of better.collect for recycling and processing of the material.
The ultimate goal of better.collect is to create new strapping bands from used ones. Such a significant and important project requires the right partners and pioneers. Partnering with a local recycler is a logical step to advance the circular economy in Austria.
RDG from Mühlheim am Inn supports the material processing with its expertise and technical knowledge as a recycler. RDG cleans, sorts, and processes the collected strapping bands into regrind or granulate. Whether PP or PET, the end result is impressive: a high-quality recycled material used as a new raw material for producing new strapping bands.
Both sides appreciate working on eye level and have trust in a joint solution. The exchange of knowledge and expertise, along with achieving the required quality, is a valuable contribution that “better.collect" already brings today.
This cooperation is another step towards a more sustainable future. “better.collect" only succeeds if everyone pulls in the same direction. Without reliable partners, such an idea cannot be realized. We want to give our strapping bands a second life, avoid plastic waste, and additionally save CO2.
